Hi! I'm Sara, I am a Malacca Portuguese decent. I began baking simple cakes when I was 15 Years old. As I grew older,my interest in cake making and decoration grew. I started to get more interested to bake cakes,after my sister's wedding.... The cake we bought was very pretty on the outside, but when we cut the cake, we found that half of the cake was burn...we had to cut cut out that part of the cake to distribute to the guests...imagine our frustrations and anger.... It was then that my mum decided to take simple baking lesson. We had our first lesson from a woman in KL,known only as Aunty Dora to me.. she was introduced by Sister Dorothy Santa Maria. That was all the lesson I had in cake baking. the rest,my mum and I learn from trial and error. There were many wastage in our cake making before we finally got our hands into the right way of baking and decorating.. This blog is also dedicated to my mum who had open my heart and mind into cake baking.....I wish that she can be here to see me succeed in my cake making..so,ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO,WE, SARA,CARISSA AND CHERISH DECIDED TO TRY OUR LUCK IN BAKING. WE HAVE BAKED MANY KINDS OF CAKES FOR ALL OCCASION.......LET IT BE FOR BIRTHDAYS,WEDDINGS,CHRISTENING OR JUST SIMPLY FEEL LIKE EATING A HOMEMADE CAKE.......THE CAKES WE MAKE ARE OUR FAMOUS AMERICAN MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE,SUGEE CAKE(MOST FAMOUS PORTUGUESE SAMOLINA CAKES,BUTTER ALMOND CAKE AND CHOCOLATE ALMOND CAKE. WE ALSO CATER FOR THE VEGETARIAN... WE HAVE EGG LESS CITRUS CAKE,EGG LESS FRUITCAKE,EGG LESS CHOCOLATE ALMOND CAKE AND EGG LESS BUTTER ALMOND CAKE......
